Your first day is approaching fast! Here's what to expect

@principal.preferredName, we're excited to welcome you to @company.name!

We understand that the first days at a new job can be both exciting and overwhelming since there are new people to meet and things to learn.

To help you make your first day as smooth as possible, we want you to know what to expect:

You will start on [DATE] at [Time] at [ADDRESS or VIRTUAL]

⚠️ Pyn note to HR: If your new hire is arriving at a physical location, include accessibility details like if your office is located up stairs, where the elevator is, and if the building is wheelchair accessible. Also include details about transportation and parking, like the nearest parking to your building, the closest public transit stop, and if you provide a stipend for transportation or parking, how much the employee can expect to receive.

Your team will join you for a welcome lunch paid for by @company.name. We have a list of nearby restaurants and delivery options for remote team members that suit a variety of dietary needs, so let your manager know what works best for you.

To help us ensure that people are addressing you appropriately, we’d love for you to add your pronouns and name pronunciation in our HRIS before your first day. If you are unfamiliar with the practice of informing others of your gender pronouns, please click here to learn more.

I’ve included your first week schedule. If there is any additional information you need or questions you have, please let me know.
