It’s @principal.name’s 7th week - set up 60-day plan review meeting today

Your new hire has reached the last phase of their onboarding. Here’s what you should do this week to set them up for success.

  • Recap and review 60-day plan with new hire (1 hour)

Why is this important?

As your new hire transitions into contributing more to the team, it’s important to set aside time to give feedback on how they have done so far and be sure that the expectations of them are clear going forward.

Review and adjust 60-day plan

In your 1-1 this week, review how the new hire has progressed on their tasks for their first 40 days. Discuss their experiences thus far and give them feedback. 

Adjust the plan as needed, and be sure that you and your new hire are aligned on expectations for the next 20 days. 

At the end of your 1-1, be sure to recognize and celebrate any wins they have had so far, ask them for their feedback, and check to see if they need any additional support.
