How we’re observing Eid al-Fitr at @company.name

Eid al-Fitr is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim Holy Month. Observed from sundown the day prior to sundown on the last day of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is also known as the Holiday of the Breaking of the Fast, as it marks the end of the required fasting that happens during the Holy Month.

Eid al-Fitr is observed in a few different ways—including through religious practices (On Eid al-Fitr, Muslims gather to perform a specific set of prayers with their community and also offer charity and donations to their mosque) as well as celebrations, where celebrants decorate their homes and gather loved ones to feast on traditional regional dishes (like biryani and sheer khurma).
