Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival is coming up on September 10th. Here’s how to help your employees who celebrate mark the festival.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

To all of our employees who observe it, we wish you a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival. This year the festivities start on Saturday, September 10th.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Related lunar festivals are also celebrated on the same day in other countries in East and Southeast Asia.

While it is not a public holiday in the US, we know it is still an important day for many.

You may also hear people refer to it as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival. It's one of the two most popular holidays in Chinese culture, alongside Chinese New Year.

It's an occasion for outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes, light lanterns and watch the moon, which is seen as a symbol of harmony and unity.
