June 10th is National Get Outdoors Day! This day, coordinated by the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable and the US Forest Service, is an effort to remove barriers from, increase accessibility to, and conserve our nation’s public lands and waters.
Some parks and forests across the nation will offer fee-free entry into parks on this day to encourage outdoor recreation.
There are also numerous events being held over the weekend.
